On June 12 and 14, Quinn Kelsey sings the title role in Verdi’s Rigoletto in concert with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.

A renowned performer of Verdi’s music, Kelsey has been praised as “an arresting artist whose performance shows off his full vocal and dramatic depth, solidifying his status as a premier Verdi baritone.” (The New York Times)

Conducted by Music Director Jonathon Heyward and directed by Dr. Eugene Rogers, Kelsey is joined by an exciting cast including Raven McMillon as Gilda, Andrew Owens as the Duke of Mantua, Peixin Chen as Sparafucile, J’Nai Bridges as Maddalena, Christian Pursell as Count Monterone, and The Washington Chorus. This performance marks the second production in Heyward’s four-year Verdi Opera Initiative.
