On November 12, 15, 19, and 23, Quinn Kelsey brings his “extraordinary” (Parterre) Scarpia in Puccini’s Tosca to The Metropolitan Opera for the first time. Kelsey is a lauded interpreter of the evil Scarpia, a role he has previously sung for Opera Philadelphia and Cincinnati Opera.

He sings alongside an all-star cast in David McVicar’s lush production, including Lise Davidson in the title role and Freddie De Tommaso as Mario Cavaradossi, under the baton of Yannick Nézet-Séguin. The cast’s much anticipated run will be featured as part of The Met Live in HD on November 19 with an encore on the 23rd.
